Our spices and superfoods

Spices add flavor and depth to your dishes (whole, ground or infused). Superfoods are versatile ingredients for smoothies, desserts, sauces or hot drinks. Each product is selected for its exceptional quality and unique character.

Clove

Eastern region, Madagascar – One of the world’s most powerful aromatics, harvested in eastern Madagascar. Its warm, heady fragrance transforms sauces, marinades, pastries and spicy drinks. Rich in eugenol, it releases its full aroma when lightly roasted before use.

Turmeric

Northern Region, Madagascar – A sunny rhizome with earthy, slightly peppery notes, Madagascar turmeric is distinguished by its intense golden color. A must in curries, soups and golden milks – the famous “golden milk” – it brings warmth and depth to all preparations.

Cocoa

Northern Region, Madagascar – Madagascar cocoa is world-renowned for its unique fruity notes of raspberry, citrus and caramel. Produced from cocoa trees grown in the north of Madagascar, we offer it as raw beans and in grué (intensely crunchy roasted bean chips), mainly from Peru and Latin America. Chew, infuse, add to smoothies, desserts or hot drinks.

Frequently asked questions

What’s the difference between spices, superfoods and dried leaves?

Above all, spices add aroma and flavor to your culinary preparations. Superfoods are versatile, flavor-rich ingredients used in a wide variety of recipes. Dried leaves are mainly used to prepare natural aromatic infusions.

Are your products natural?

All our products are selected for their quality and authenticity, sourced from local producers in Madagascar and other countries, additive-free and 100% natural.

Is Voatsiperifery pepper really any different from ordinary pepper?

Absolutely. This is a wild pepper endemic to Madagascar, harvested by hand in the forests. It has a unique aromatic profile, with notes of eucalyptus, citrus and wood, and a soft, lingering warmth very different from classic black pepper. It is one of the world’s most sought-after peppers by Michelin-starred chefs.
